The number of temporary residences delivered by Samarco to the families affected by the dam accident in Fundão reached 153. The houses assist 564 people of Bento Rodrigues, Paracatu and other districts of Mariana, besides residents of the municipality of Barra Longa.
The new houses are equipped with furniture, appliances, utensils, and trousseau items. Before moving, the company also purchases items, such as food, produce, cleaning products, personal hygiene and drinking water for the family.
