Citizen’s home is inaugurated in Anchieta (ES)

29/04/2016

The Citizen’s Home was inaugurated this Friday (29th). The project carried out by Samarco, along with Anchieta’s Mayor’s Office, offers a site where a variety of services can be executed, such as second copy of identity cards and CPF (Register of a Private Individual) or have information on entrepreneurship. Tourists will also be able to count on the Citizen’s Home as a place to solve doubts and get information about the region.

The investment on citizenship was one of the priorities established in the Socio-Environmental Commitment Term (SECT) signed between Samarco, the state government of Espirito Santo, the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Espirito Santo state, and the Mayor’s Office of Anchieta, Guarapari and Piúma municipalities, with the technical intervenience of the State Institute of Environment and Water Resources of Espirito Santo (IEMA).

The Citizen’s Home inauguration concludes the Socio-Environmental Commitment Term, which has included other infrastructure projects in localities neighbors to the company’s operating area, with focus on health and citizenship. Under the same Term, for example, paving works in the Porto Grande neighborhood, in Guarapari, were delivered and the building of the Maria Lucia de Almeida Cunha Lora Family Health Center.

In Piuma, the renovation works of the Nossa Senhora da Conceição Municipal Hospital were inaugurated. All projects were defined by the SECT signatories, which all have representatives in a commission created to discuss and deliberate on the investments carried out by Samarco. “The Citizen’s Home demonstrates, in practical form, the positive potential that resides in the partnership among civil society, public institutions and the company”, states Roberto Carvalho, Samarco’s director-president.

Samarco has invested around 3 million Brazilian reais in the project. According to the Term, it is the Anchieta’s Mayor’s Office responsibility to equip and manage the site, just as hiring the personnel to integrate its administrative and conservation staff. “Our focus is delivering quality and efficient service, facilitating the life of the citizens of Anchieta and neighboring localities. Offering services in one single site will enhance agility for businessmen and future entrepreneurs, allowing for diversification of activities in our city. We are working and thank Samarco for the partnership in the construction of the Citizen’s Home”, has explained Marcus Assad, Mayor of Anchieta.
