Samarco continues providing all necessary assistance to the districts of Paracatu de Baixo and Paracatu de Cima, affected by the accidents involving its dams. Currently there are 168 residents from the two towns lodged at inns and hotels in Mariana, while another 30 chose to stay with relatives. Those that preferred to stay in Paracatu de Baixo are receiving support from the Company, which continues to distribute water, staple foods, personal hygiene items, cleaning material and pet food.
