Since Monday, November 16, the supply of Baixo Guandu (ES) has been performed with the water captured from the Guandu River. This was possible with the construction of three adductors for the Water Treatment Plant of the Guandu River, a project of SAAE and the City Hall of Baixo Guandu and Samarco’s support, supplying material and technical knowledge. This is an action to prevent the water of the city from being interrupted.
In Colatina (ES,) Samarco and City Hall continue to drill the artesian wells in the path of the Doce River, near the water treatment facilities. Water trucks with 16.262 million liters of water are also available for the population if needed.
