In response to recommendations of the Public Prosecution Service, Samarco proposed, last Friday, to pay every month the official minimum wage to each household, plus 20% of the minimum wage to each one of the dependents, in addition to a basket of staples.
Samarco is making an effort to assure that, by the beginning of December, the displaced and homeless people will start receiving the cards with the corresponding amount.
