Since November 5th , 1,017 persons of Mariana, Barra Longa communities and nearby districts are receiving psychosocial support from psychologists and social workers. Professionals are visiting homes, hospitals, inns and hotels in the area, for individual, family or group calls, with the goal of providing support and shelter to the affected families.
When it is identified the need for continuous monitoring, the resident is referred to mental health specialists of Mariana City Council.
