Among the additional measures of monitoring and safety that Samarco has been taken, the company starts this Wednesday, November 11th, a mobilization to conduct interventions in the remaining structures of the areas of dams, which will provide a greater degree of stability, mitigating the effects resulted from disruption and preventing any future problems. Therefore, the competent authorities recommend restricted access to the affected area.
We reinforce that Samarco, with public agencies, remain absolutely mobilized to act in the rescue and care of impacted people.
