Residents of Mariana and Barra Long who like or want to learn to cook can enroll in the Kitchen Brazil (Cozinha Brasil) course, promoted by Samarco in partnership with the Fiemg System and with the support of local prefectures. In Mariana, the classes will take place between May 17th and 19th and in Long Bar from May 23rd to 25th.
During this period, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the step by step to nutritious, tasty and low budget meals. In addition to recipes, the students will receive guidance on how to choose food for its nutritional value, presentation and price. It will also be taught how to use the ingredients to their full potential, reducing wastefulness and helping to improve the use of the household income.
On the completion of the course – which has the duration of 10 hours, including theoretical and practical skills – the residents will receive the Kitchen Brazil book and the qualification certificate.
Kitchen Brazil – Mariana, from May 17th to 19th
Registration: free of charge and limited availability.
Time: Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm.
