The SESI/FIEMG, in partnership with Samarco and the town hall of Mariana carry on with the sports, culture and leisure activities in town between March and July. Movies sessions, theatre, dance and music performances, games and competitions are some of the actions offered to the communities impacted by the dam accident and to the population in general.
The initiative is a result of the discussions between Samarco’s team and representatives of the affected communities. This interaction aims at helping people to adapt to a new community, strengthening the relation bonds with residents of Mariana and providing moments for social interaction. The actions offer spaces for social conviviality between all ages.
The registration period is open from Monday to Saturday from 8am to 6pm, at SESI Mariana Culture Center (22 Frei Durão St., town center). More information by phone (31) 3557-1041 or on the site wsamarcohomolognewsite.azurewebsites.net.br .
