Live Recovery Map

18/10/2017

The Renova Foundation has just released a new tool for you to monitor live the ongoing progress of the repair and compensation programs to the damages caused by the disruption of the Fundão dam.

While navigating the map, you can easily and in complete transparency learn about the progress of the actions made in Mariana and along the Rio Doce. In addition to explanatory texts, you can geolocalize the “before and after” photos.

Many of the solutions to compensate and recover what has been impacted are complex and will occur on the long-term.

You can follow the progress of all the programs and find other information of the Renova Foundation on this website: http://www.fundacaorenova.org/

About the Renova Foundation

To ensure that the remedial actions are legitimate, the Renova Foundation was created, through an agreement signed between Samarco, its shareholders, the federal and state governments as well as various other social and environmental bodies. As an adequate initiative to respond to the damages, the Foundation was created as an autonomous and independent entity, in August 2016, to take over the remedial actions, including those that were initially being carried out by Samarco.
