Through a partnership between Sesi-Senai-Fiemg, Samarco and the City Hall of Mariana, training courses will be offered, during the first half of 2016, to the population of Mariana. Starting this week, Mobile Schools, bringing vocational education, will be installed in the city and will promote free training courses for cooking, electrician, mason, tailor, manicure, crafts and computer. Teaching materials, tools and accessories to facilitate learning equipment will be available. It is expected for 390 people to participate and to be trained in a new activity.
The project emerged after the social listening carried out by Samarco Occupational, Work and Income staffs with the communities of Bento Rodrigues and Paracatu. With the action, it was possible to map the main demands and professional interests of the affected communities. The goal now is to qualify the manpower to generate income.
Applicants can register Monday thru Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Cultural Center Sesi in Mariana (Rua Frei Durão, 22, Centro). For more information call (31) 3557- 1041.
