Samarco finished the construction of the bridge at Ponte do Gama, sub-district of Mariana, Minas Gerais. Made of steel beams and concrete flooring, the structure has a 30 m span and a load capacity of 70 tons. This is the fifth bridge delivered in 78 days since the accident with the Fundão dam, the fourth and last one required for Mariana.
The construction of the other two impacted bridges, both in Barra Longa, Minas Gerais, is underway. In addition to these seven larger bridges, the Company recovered a small bridge that connects the district of Monsenhor Horta to the sub-district of Paracatu de Baixo, two days after the accident.

20/12 – Campinas Bridge, between the communities of Campinas and Barreto.

22/1 – Bridge in the sub-district of Ponte do Gama, in Mariana.
