Safety is Samarco’s top priority and since the dam collapse we have concentrated our efforts on the reinforcement of our structures, always with the objective of meeting international safety standards.
We have optimized the Monitoring and Inspection Center with robust engineering and more than 600 pieces of equipment running 24/7. Monthly audits are carried out in all our geotechnical structures and sirens are tested in nearby communities.
With more efficient management and state-of-the-art technology, we renew our commitment to society, prioritizing safety.
