Water from Doce River, between Governador Valadares and Regência, can be used for irrigation

Studies of the Espírito Santo Institute of Sciences and Administration (ICCA) attest to the quality of the water from Doce River for use in planting between the municipalities of Governador Valadares (MG) and Regência (ES). For water analysis, samples have been collected in rural properties located between both cities, every 15 days, and 23 different parameters have been analyzed. Laboratory analyses indicated that there was no type of change, and the water is appropriate for irrigation and use in planting. Currently, all activities related to supply, intake, use and quality of water, including the monitoring of the Doce River, which were started by Samarco, are being conducted by the Renova Foundation.
